A Webquest into The Traditional Music of India

PROCESS
WEEK ONE
- Form a Team of Three Students
- Individually read through the Task Letter sent to you from PM Kevin Rudd and make note of the Study requirements.
- Decide upon a particular Project role you would like to undertake within your Team:
Historian
Musicologist A
Musicologist B
- Click on your chosen area to begin your individual Mission
NOTE: We understand your mission will be demanding however You must complete your assigned missions before THE BEGINNING OF WEEK TWO, even if it means completing the tasks in your own time!
WEEK TWO
- Team meeting:
You are required to meet at the hotel this morning and spend ten minutes informing your fellow team members of the particular missions you undertook yesterday and the information you collected along your travels.
For example, Historian will teach Musicologist A & B about the Hisorical background of Traditional Indian Music.
- Crack The Code:
Now that you each have attained the information necessary the Prime Minister has asked for your help to make sense of a letter sent to him from the Indian Government.
VIEW THE LETTER
- You will not be granted a flight home to Australia until this requirement of the study has been met.

Sibelius 5 Demo: A demo to use at home if you do not have access to Sibelius 5 (Sibelius 5 can be found on the Library Computers).
- Export your completed task from Sibelius 5 as a Midi File and save it in a location you will remember to be later uploaded into your Power Point Presentation. (You will find instructions on how to do so in the above Guide to Using Sibelius 5).

WEEK THREE
Create a Portfolio:
Your team must now work together to compile an Assessable Portfolio containing all of the individual (written works) and group activites (Crack the Code: Composition Task) you have completed over the past two weeks.
This portfolio is to be presented to Captain Abdilla in the form of a Power Point Presentation
- Devise a Presentation plan outlining the format for your pesentation
- Obtain any relevant media from the WEB to enhance your presentation visually and aurally.
- Copy your completed tasks into the Power Point Document in a relevant order (according to presentation plan).
- Create a link to your Sibelius 5 Document in the Power point Document.
- Make your presentation visually and aurally appealing ie. Upload Media etc.
- Save your presentation and upload it to the Student Drive for Submission to Miss Abdilla
